The treatment itself only takes about 15-20 minutes. Most patients accept anti-wrinkle procedures without topical anaesthesia and describe mild pricking pain. However, if requested, we can apply topical anaesthesia with ice. Other agents may be available to decrease pain associated with injections if requested. The effect from these injections can last 4-10 months and results seen in as little 72 hours. There are no long-term adverse effects documented.
